What are Yedigöller?

Yedigöller National Park is located 42 kilometers north of Bolu in the Western Black Sea Region, south of Zonguldak. Covering an area of 1642 hectares, this national park was established in 1965. It is formed as a result of the basins being blocked by the front of valley cliffs and consists of 7 connected lakes that extend from north to south. These lakes are named Büyükgöl, Seringöl, Deringöl, Nazlıgöl, Küçükgöl, İncegöl, and Sazlıgöl. This region, famous for its natural beauty, walking trails, and picnic areas, welcomes many visitors every year.

How to Get to Yedigöller?

Reaching Yedigöller National Park is quite easy. If you are coming from Istanbul or Ankara, you need to use the Ankara-Istanbul highway to reach the national park. You can reach Yedigöller by taking the roads that branch off to the north from Yeniçağa at the 152nd kilometer or from Bolu at the 190th kilometer of the highway. The Bolu-Yedigöller route may be closed in winter due to heavy snowfall. In this case, you can use the alternative routes of Yeniçağa-Mengen-Yazıcık or Devrek-Yazıcık.
