What is Yazılı Kanyon Nature Park?

Yazılı Kanyon Nature Park is a natural beauty located 20 km away from Sütçüler District, covering an area of 600 hectares. The canyon's walls feature sections used for worship, altars, and inscriptions dating back to the Byzantine period. Because of this, the canyon is called 'Yazılı Kanyon', which means 'inscribed canyon'. The depth of the canyon ranges between 100 and 400 meters. Yazılı Kanyon, located within the borders of Çandır Village, was registered as a nature park in 1989.
