Mevlana Museum opened its doors in its current location in 1926 as the Konya Asar-ı Atika Museum. The museum, located in the place known as the Rose Garden of the Seljuk Palace, was built by Architect Tebrizli Bedrettin with 130,000 Seljuk dirhams.
